Quality of Life Starts with a Clearer Decision

Quality of life does not begin with having more options. It begins with seeing which option deserves the next step.

A clear decision is not a rushed decision

A good decision is not a perfect decision or a guaranteed outcome. It is a decision with a defined purpose, visible assumptions, and a next step that can be reviewed.

A four-part decision framework

1. Name the real decision

Write one question you need to answer. This separates the decision from urgency and noise.

2. Separate facts from expectations

List what is known and what is assumed. The gap shows what needs research or a small test.

3. Compare alternatives with explicit criteria

Compare time, resources, customer impact, risk, and reversibility.

4. Choose a reviewable next step

When possible, choose a small test and define the signal that will lead to a review.
